| How The USA/Israeli War Against Iran Should End |

IRAN’S PRIMARY CONCERN Iran desires the war to end and never be re-started. It must weaken the USA as a military enemy within its region. It must weaken Israel as an enemy within its region (which is where Israel will always be). It must also be relieved of sanctions and be helped to rebuild (reparations). ENDING THE IRAN/USA WAR I believe that the USA is already being pushed out of its military bases in the Persian Gulf region and that its remaining army people, now hiding in hotels and offices, are in danger of further attack there. IRAN SHOULD (AND IMO WILL): *CONTINUE* • to attack USA in the Gulf as it is now doing • to control the Straight of Hormuz as it pleases, as it is now doing • to attack the Gulf Monarchies as it is now doing *AND DEMAND* • that USA end all military operations against Iran now-and-forever • that USA end all military presence in the Gulf region now-and-forever • that USA end all sanctions against Iran now-and-forever • that USA end all support (money, arms, diplomacy) for Israel now-and-forever • reparations *AND OFFER* • to end its retaliations against the Gulf Monarchies • to allow passage through the Straight of Hormuz to the USA and its allies (on the same terms as everyone else) AS SOON AS the preceding demands are met and FOR SO LONG AS they continue to be met. WHY SHOULD THE USA END THE WAR “ASAP” ON THESE TERMS? The USA can shorten the pain (of further losses of military equipment and lives) (of high energy prices at home and shortages of oil, gas, fertilizer, and other products normally coming through the Straight to the USA and internationally) by accepting these terms ASAP. There is nothing to be gained by prolonging this war, and perhaps the Gulf Monarchies can be saved if the USA ends the war soon enough. Some of the consequences of this war may be irreversible (or reversible only at great cost) and shortening the war will reduce or stop the growth of these costs or consequences. ENDING THE IRAN/ISRAEL WAR Ending the war with Israel, IMO, will require Israel to be so weakened militarily that Israel will not be able to attack Iran again and will end its wars against Lebanon and Yemen and Palestine and will be ready to make a two-state peace treaty with Palestine and pull in its own borders to pre-1967 lines with perhaps adjustments (bits of Galilee to Palestine to make up for the erasure of Gaza). From 1947 until today, Israel has regarded itself as at war (war of defense or war of conquest) with all its neighbors. My proposal is to end all this. Force Israel to become a sort of Luxembourg, a normal country, but now living at peace instead of at endless war. |
